Abstract
|

|
Clear cell carcinoma of the ovary belongs to the common epithelial tumors of the ovary and is thought to originate from the pluripotential surface epithelium of the ovary.
This ovarian carcinoma is a well differentiated carcinoma resembling renal cell carcinoma and survival rate is much lower than any other malignant cystomas if the tumor extended beyond the ovary.
A case of clear cell carcinoma of the ovary with favorable prognosis in a 50 year old premenstrual woman was presented with a brief review of the literatures and discussion concerned.
